michael allen fox : actor
This is Michael's second performance with Marin Musical Theatre Company. His music education dates back to age nine when he saw someone play the piano on TV and, shortly thereafter, asked for a piano for his tenth birthday. He took private lessons for a number of years and continues to play, with a repertoire that is predominantly classical. Two years ago, after acquiring satellite radio for his car, Michael started singing along while commuting to work. A few months later, he began voice lessons with Deborah Benedict, to whom he is greatly indebted for her fine tutelage.
Michael sings with the Marin Golden Gate Barbershop Chorus and the Rodef Sholom Chorus. Favorite past roles include Sir Joseph Porter in the HMS Pinafore with West Marin Players, Herman in The Most Happy Fella with West Marin Players, and Motel the Tailor in Fiddler On The Roof with Stapleton Theatre Company. Michael holds a Masters of Science degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Thomas Jefferson University.
