Maxine Sattizahn (Mabel) is over the top about performing with this wonderful group of people. Before becoming a singing secretary in a pajama factory, she played the Queen of England—twice, King John (Marin Shakespeare Company) and The Lion in Winter (Novato Theater Company); an Italian housekeeper, Enchanted April (Ross Valley Players); and a prim, English governess, The Importance of Being Earnest (Actors Ensemble of Berkeley). This fall she will be a German landlady in Cabaret (Ross Valley Players). Thank you my darling Ed for being so encouraging and supportive. And thank you Denise Wharmby without whom this wouldn’t be happening.
